Valued friends of Wings to Walla Walla

The scoop:

• The Fly-in is called "Wings to Walla Walla."
• The dates are June 19-21.
• The participating hotel is the Marcus Whitman hotel [www.marcuswhitmanhotel.com - 866-826-9422].
• There are currently 25 rooms being held at a special rate. Make sure to mention "Wings to Walla Walla".

• The host airport is Walla Walla - KALW.
• There are rental cars available.
• Our host FBO is Blue Ridge Aircraft Service - 509-529-4243.
• There are about 15 wineries right on the airport grounds within walking distance of the tie downs.

• There are walking tours of downtown, art galleries, many museums, historic Whitman Mission, farms, antiques, golf, birding, biking, and lots of other things to do in Walla Walla.
• Wine reception at the airport Friday 3 to 5pm.
• BRING TIE-DOWNS. The FBO may not have enough for the number of planes that we expect.
• We'll have a greeter at the airport to get you oriented.
• The hotel will provide transportation to and from the airport on the arrival and departure dates.
• The Marcus Whitman has a great buffet breakfast included with the hotel stay.

Registration cost for the event is $55 per person which covers food and dining facilities on both nights as well as Saturday's VIP tasting and commemorative wine glass (which will waive tasting fees at select wineries). Registration can be paid by cash or check upon arrival or by PayPal to aeroncadoc@comcast.net.
