The scoop:

• The Fly-in is called "Wings to Walla Walla."
• The dates are June 24-26, 2011.
• The participating hotels are the Marcus Whitman hotel www.marcuswhitmanhotel.com - (866) 826-9422 and the Colonial Motel www.colonial-motel.com - (509) 529-1220
• Mention the Walla Walla Wine Run (Marcus Whitman) or Wings and Wheels to Walla Walla (Colonial) for a special rate at these establishments.
• The host airport is Walla Walla - KALW.
• There are rental cars available.
• Our host FBO is Blue Ridge Aircraft Service - 509-529-4243.
• There are 150 wineries in greater Walla Walla, including at least 15 right on the airport grounds.

• There are walking tours of downtown, art galleries, museums, historic Whitman Mission, farms, antiques, golf, birding, biking, and lots of other things to do in Walla Walla.
• BRING TIE-DOWNS. The FBO may not have enough for the number of planes that we expect.
• We'll have a greeter at the airport to get you oriented.
• The Marcus Whitman has a great buffet breakfast included with the hotel stay.

2011 signup:

Registration cost for the event is $15 per person which includes a commemorative wine glass that will waive tasting fees at select wineries. Registration can be paid by cash or check upon arrival.
